YouTube passive income is not only possible, it's relatively simple if you believe some of the long-time YouTube creators. A quick YouTube search will turn up plenty of videos to watch about how to make money online by monetizing your YouTube channel.
Many of those videos discuss achieving YouTube monetization by creating enough video content to bring your channel up to 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 viewing hours, which allows you to earn ad revenue.
But that's only one way to earn YouTube passive income, and if you have a small channel, it takes time.
An alternative is to try affiliate marketing.
Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing strategy where individuals or businesses, known as affiliates or publishers, promote products or services offered by another company or merchant. Affiliates earn a commission for each sale, lead, or action generated through their promotional efforts.
I started a second YouTube channel in the health and wellness niche to try affiliate marketing for beginners, so in this case, my videos are my promotional efforts.
